Dream Library Mural

Our neighborhood mural, 'Washington Heights Dream Library", was created by Milwaukee artist Fred Kaems and completed in 2020. Over the years, it has become a destination for booklovers of all ages!  ​Many people have traveled considerable distances to take their photo in front of the incredible "bookshelf" full of delightful images and local history. We have a met librarians, teachers, bibliophiles, and people of all ages who have come to "see it for themselves".
